The rules for using the TOSHZA marketplace as a customer, supplier, or driver.
Last updated: 7 August 2026
TOSHZA operates a multi-vendor marketplace connecting customers and independent suppliers in South Africa.
By creating an account, browsing, purchasing, or selling through TOSHZA, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and all linked policies.
TOSHZA may update these terms. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Customers must provide accurate delivery, contact, and payment information.
Customers must keep login credentials confidential and notify TOSHZA of suspected unauthorised access.
Customers must be available to receive deliveries or complete collection, complete OTP or QR verification when required, and inspect goods on receipt where reasonably possible.
Abuse of refunds, chargebacks without cause, or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.
Suppliers must list accurate product descriptions, pricing, stock levels, and images.
Suppliers must fulfil confirmed orders promptly, pack goods securely, and comply with South African consumer and product safety laws.
Suppliers authorise TOSHZA to collect customer payments, deduct platform commission, and release payouts according to the Supplier Agreement and payout rules.
Prohibited, counterfeit, unsafe, or illegal products may be removed and may lead to suspension.
Orders may be fulfilled by courier partners (such as PAXI) or other shipping options shown at checkout.
Customers and suppliers must complete any OTP or QR handover steps required for the selected fulfilment method.
Falsifying delivery or collection proof, sharing OTPs improperly, or failing to hand over goods without valid reason may result in account suspension.
TOSHZA may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud, abuse the platform, or create safety or legal risk.
Suspended users may lose access to orders, payouts, or listings pending investigation.
Users may contact support@toshza.co.za to request a review of a suspension decision.
TOSHZA monitors payments, accounts, and fulfilment events for fraud and abuse.
We may delay fulfilment, withhold payouts, request additional verification, or cancel orders where fraud is reasonably suspected.
Payment providers may independently decline or reverse transactions under their own rules.
TOSHZA provides the marketplace platform and related services. Product quality and fulfilment obligations primarily sit with the selling supplier, except where TOSHZA expressly assumes a duty.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, TOSHZA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from marketplace use.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes should first be raised with TOSHZA support before formal proceedings where practical.
